Omaha Baseball Village to host sixth annual Flying Flags for Charity

OMAHA, Neb. —

The sixth annual Flying Flags for Charity will be held Friday at the Old Mattress Factory Bar and Grill.

The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will include eight local nonprofit organizations: Boys Town, Strike Out Stroke, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Heart Ministry Center, Sheltering Tree Community, Grief's Journey, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Heart Heroes.

The event includes a complimentary party with food, soft drinks and entertainment in the Corporate Tent Area at the Omaha Baseball Village. Each organization will have an opportunity to raise awareness for their organization.

Children will be greeted around 4:45 p.m. by staff and volunteers. Face painting, snacks and entertainment will be available.
