June 16, 2017

Fan Fest is a family friendly College World Series hangout spot near Lot C and Mike Fahey Street that is the ultimate spot for baseball lovers. There is live music, give aways, autograph signings, special appearances and a flight simulator. Fan Fest also has food and drinks for sale as well as interactive games that incorporate all NCAA major sports. Fan Fest is free.

"It's a way to participate in the College World Series and the fun and excitement of the series without actually having to have a game ticket," said Dan Morrissey, of the College World Series.

The Omaha Baseball Village is also a place for fans to congregate. They will be open every day of the series.

They always have fun for the whole family with food and baseball gear for sale. This year, the village is adding a batting cage, a U.S. Air Force mini jet and some new vendors. They will also have a women's and kids boutique.

They are helping Boys Town celebrate their 100th year anniversary with a special exhibit inside the bullpen building. There will be artifacts, like autographed gear, rotating out daily.

After 9 p.m., the village beer garden transforms into a 21 and over spot. They will be open until 2 a.m. for fans to celebrate. The beer garden will have live music.
