CWS preparations underway around TD Ameritrade Park

Preparations are underway just outside of TD Ameritrade Park for the College World Series.
There were memorable moments on the road to the CWS. The vendors at the Omaha Baseball Village hope to continue that trend. The village is located in the Old Mattress Factory's parking lot. On Wednesday afternoon, the vendors promised that everything will be ready for the two-week long party.
Of course, the CWS is about baseball, but it's also about so much more. "It's really more about enjoying your summer and getting out," said Dan Crowell, a local Jose Cuervo distributor. "It's a once a year thing. The city is famous for it. Everybody kind of wants to be a part of it. The local folks, the people who are from around here, want people to go away feelings like they had a lot of fun."
The Baseball Village is a one-stop hangout spot, which includes pizza hot out of the oven, souvenirs for everyone in the family and televisions, so fans don't miss any of the action.
